Charlotte Dosumu - Principal

Charlotte Dosumu has dedicated her life to education, spending over 25 years as an elementary educator and recently stepping into the role of assistant principal, which she has held for the past three years. Growing up in the small community of Teec Nos Pos, Arizona, Charlotte discovered her passion for teaching at an early age, driven by her love for learning and her desire to share that knowledge with others.

A proud graduate of the University of New Mexico (UNM), Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She later pursued a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on language and literacy, further enhancing her expertise in the field. To round out her professional qualifications, she earned an Educational Specialist (EdS) certificate in K-12 Administration, preparing her for leadership roles in education.

Charlotte's career has taken her across the United States, where she has worked in New Mexico, Arizona, North Carolina, and Iowa. Her journey through various school systems has enriched her experience, allowing her to adapt and thrive in diverse educational settings. As a Native American woman, Charlotte takes immense pride in being the first in her family to earn college degrees and break into school administration. She views education as a powerful tool—one that no one can take away.

Outside of her professional life, Charlotte enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, hiking, and cooking alongside her husband Sam, who is also an administrator in higher education. Her personal and professional values are deeply intertwined, as she believes in the importance of mentorship, not only for students but for the next generation of educators. Charlotte embraces learning as a lifelong process, one that she is passionate about sharing with others, both in and out of the classroom.

Assistant Principal

Jonathan Bock - Assistant Principal

I am excited to join the Bosque Farms Elementary community as the Assistant Principal. I look forward to meeting our staff, students, and families in the coming weeks and building strong relationships as we work together to support student success.

I was born and raised in Los Lunas and am a proud graduate of Los Lunas Schools. I attended Katherine Gallegos Elementary, Daniel Fernandez Intermediate, Los Lunas Middle School, and graduated from Los Lunas High School in 2006. Returning to serve the community that shaped me is both meaningful and rewarding.

I have spent the past 15 years in education. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of New Mexico and began my career teaching second grade in Albuquerque, where I taught for four years. While that experience was invaluable, I knew I wanted to return home. I then spent nine years teaching second and third grade at Katherine Gallegos Elementary, during which time I earned my Master of Arts in Elementary Education and my K–12 Administrative License.

For the past year and a half, I have served as the Academic Coach at Century High School. Working at the secondary level has broadened my perspective and deepened my understanding of the importance of a strong elementary foundation. I am grateful for these experiences and am eager to bring what I have learned to support the students, staff, and families of Bosque Farms Elementary.

I am honored to join this school community and look forward to a great year ahead.
